ARIYAN LAW

Joseph Ariyan founded the firm in 2000, after being admitted to practice in New Jersey (1995) and New York (1996), as a general practice. His undergraduate degree in insurance coupled with experience as a claims adjuster prior to attending law school quickly led to a concentration in representing medical providers in the field of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) arbitrations and representing those injured in accidents. Since then the office has grown to an efficient team of lawyers and support staff who aggressively represent medical providers in the recovery of unpaid claims by insurance companies; both in PIP arbitrations and Out-of-Network (OON) arbitrations against health insurers.

For the past 25 years, Mr. Ariyan has been a constant presence and leader in the New Jersey PIP community. He has lectured on the arbitration process through the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and served on the Forthright Solutions Advisory Council. His office has successfully represented medical providers of all specialties, including hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and diagnostic imaging facilities, through tens of thousands of cases.  Mr. Ariyan also selectively represents those who have suffered significant life-altering injuries as a result of motor vehicle accidents, dog attacks, and other personal injury matters.

 

Mr. Ariyan served as the Municipal Prosecutor in the Borough of Paramus (Criminal Part) from January of 2015 to January of 2022 and was the prosecutor in the Twp. of Rochelle Park from 2018-2019 and Borough of Oradell from April 2021 to January 2022.   Now Mr. Ariyan serves as a Municipal Court Judge in various municipalities in Bergen County.

 

With a dedication to public service and high ethical standards, Mr. Ariyan has held a variety of positions in support of the legal community and the people of Bergen County. He is a zealous advocate for his clients and has tried dozens of cases to verdict.
